Do they make a ball hitch for duallys. if so how much trouble is to install. and cost. 97 ford 1 ton dually. Thanks

We have a few options for your 1997 Ford F-350 dually as long as it is not a Cab and Chassis model (like a service vehicle or RV conversion). Personally, I prefer the BandW gooseneck hitches. These are quality hitches and BandW is one of the most popular names in the gooseneck market. If your truck has the factory overload springs, then you can use part # BWGNRK1110. If you do not have the overload springs, then you will want part # BWGNRK1100.
When it comes to the installation, all of the gooseneck hitches will have about the same level of difficulty on your truck. Frame drilling will be required for any hitch if you have the overload springs. If you do not have the overload springs, then you will not have to drill because they use different frame brackets. Our installers have commented that BandW hitches are typically easier to install due to the frame brackets and rails, but I would set aside at least half a day if you are somewhat experienced with this type of installation or at least feel comfortable after reading the instructions.
