With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.

Easy-to-Remove, Simple-to-Store Hitch Ball

The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Operation

When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.

Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.

Simple, Custom Installation

This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.

Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Accessories

B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

  • Best Gooseneck Hitch for a 2017 Ram 1500 5-1/2 Foot Bed
The correct gooseneck hitch for your 2017 Ram 1500 is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1309. The B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1110 that you referenced will not fit your Ram. The B&W hitch is considered by most to be the best gooseneck hitch on the market. It has a turnover ball design that allows you to store the hitch ball upside down and it has a 30,000 lb towing capacity. It will also allow for a drop in 5th wheel hitch to be used such as...

  • B&W Turnover Gooseneck Hitch For a 1195 Ford F-350 With 1" Body Lift Kit
With your 1995 Ford F-350 having the body lift I recommend using the Universal B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1500 which you will be able to have custom fabricated for your frame and set to your bed height. The Custom Fit # BWGNRK1110 sitting 1" below the bed is not ideal. While the High-Rise Ball # BWGNXA2050 will position the ball where it would need to sit the safety chain hooks are not long enough to reach through the raised bed height. The Universal hitch...

  • How To Find Out If You Have Overload Springs for B&W Gooseneck Hitch on 1986 Ford F-250/F-350
In regards to a 1986 Ford F-250/F-350, the overload spring is one that sits above the main spring pack and does not extend the entire length of the main pack on either side. If you have this then you'll want to use the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1110 but if you don't you'll want to use the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1100. I have attached a photo below which has the overload spring.

You can use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88298 with an in-bed hitch system like your B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck hitch # BWGNRK1110 (with overload springs) or # BWGNRK1100 (without overload springs) since they install away from where the Gooseneck brackets do. I really like these AirLift bags since they have an internal jounce bumper that provides additional support and protection for the bags in the event of a malfunction....

  • Determining if 1997 Ford F-350 Has Overload Springs for B&W Gooseneck Fit
An Air Lift air spring kit that fits your 1997 Ford F-350 would not be considered an overload spring. Overload springs are a separate spring that attaches to the rear leaf spring pack that looks like it only connects in the middle of the pack and not to the ends. This allows the suspension to work like normal but once it gets compressed far enough an additional spring adds more support. So if you do have the overload springs you'd want the part # BWGNRK1110 that you referenced but if you...

For your 1991 Ford F-250 HD the B and W gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1110 is the correct Turnover ball gooseneck hitch that your truck would need. Based on the frame dimensions of your truck it was not original a cab and chassis truck (although it appears to be one in the picture) so this hitch is a confirmed fit. While the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60723 is a more cost-effective option for your 1994 Ford F-250, the B&W Turnoverball Underbed is my go-to gooseneck hitch so I have a hard time not recommending it. The correct fit depends on if you have the Overload Springs or not: - Overload Springs # BWGNRK1110 - Without Overload Springs # BWGNRK1100 When looking at the specs the only real difference between the Curt and the B&W is that the B&W is Made in the...

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1110 that you referenced is a fit for your 1997 Ford F-350 but whether it would fit with your air bags is dependent on the air bag kit and how it installs to the truck.
