Hi expert ! From your Expert Reply where do I install the optonics license plate light ....part #LP55CB on Thule T2 Pro Xtr bike rack ? Tks To add a license plate bracket to any bike rack will require you to modify the bike rack. If you are willing to do that with the Thule T2 Pro XTR, # TH83JV, then your best bet would be a bracket with a light in the event that you are carrying your bikes at night. I recommend the Optronics License Plate Light w/ Mounting Bracket # LP55CB.

There isn't a perfect spot on the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # TH83JV for the Optronics License Plate Light part # LP55CB. That's because they really aren't designed to be used with one another, it requires retrofitting. That said, from looking at the rack and plate holder, I would simply take some zip ties and secure it to the outermost crossbar. The other option which is probably a bit better, though does not have a light, is the Yakima PlateMate License Plate Holder for Bike Racks part # Y02713 and that's honestly what I recommend.
