Does the Bumper Beam Get Reused on Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2023 Volvo XC60

Question:
2023 XC60. #9 of instructions says to discard the factory reinforcement beam but in the installation video, it is reattached over the hitch. Which is correct?

There was a design change on the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # SH87FRT for a 2023 Volvo XC60. If you have the old design then you will reuse the bumper beam. If you have the new design you will not reuse the bumper beam. They both work equally well so it doesn't not matter which you have, just be sure to follow the instructions included with the hitch.
