I have a great replacement option for a GEH16EXT water heater but those are old and obsolete and they aren't available anymore. Instead you will want the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater 60,000 BTU # FR98SR. It has smaller dimensions to the 10 gallon GEH16EXT water heater at 12-5/8" long x 12-13/16" wide x 19-3/16" deep. This tankless water heater can produce up to 144 Gallons of hot water per hour.

What additional hardware will I need if I’m converting over from the old style 10gal electric/gas domestic ge16ext?

@GaryY New mounting hardware potentially if you don't want to reuse what's on there. Possibly new fittings and extra pipe but that entirely depends on how yours is currently set up.
