What Type of Metal is Replacement Ramp for Yakima OnRamp

Question:
Hi guys, Is the Yakima OnRamp replacement aluminum? Wonder if you know if it is bendable? I plan to bend the vertical edges out so itll accept wider tires, and was curious if youve tried that, or seen it done. It could just snap... My experiment could revolutionize this product and make it usable by millions! - Thanks -

Yes, the Replacement Ramp for Yakima OnRamp Electric Bike Racks # Y99KR that you referenced is aluminum. We haven't heard of anyone bending this so we can't say we have any experience on how well it would handle it.
