I am currently towing a jeep grand cherokee with a demco dominator tow bar but would like to set up my 2018 ram 1500 to tow. Could you give me some recommendations for what would be required

If you want to use the Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar part # DM9511008 on a 2018 Ram 1500 you'll need the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit part # DM9517335. In addition to this you'd still need a braking system and lighting harness. I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR and Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light part # LIW-LDTL-7B as they are both portable options that can be installed/removed easily and taken from vehicle to vehicle. Please note, you'll also need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit part # RM-9332 in order to power the braking system with the vehicle off.
