Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For 2022 Jayco Jayflight with 665lbs Tongue Weight
Published 03/28/2023 >
Question:
Looking for WDS for my 2022 Jayco Jayflight trailer with a tongue weight of 665# allowing for 100# behind the axle of my 2021 Toyota Highlander with a 5935# GVWR, considering the Blue Ox BLU65FR and the BLU47FR. Do these sound like good choices for this setup? If so which might be the better option? Thank you.

I'd be happy to help!
First off as long as that 665 tongue weight is a figure you came up with from measuring the tongue weight of your 2022 Jayco Jayflight, then we can use that figure. If you got that number from the factory it's not right, as it does not account for propane, or batteries which dealers install. If you didn't measure your tongue weight use the below article as a guide to do this.
Second your trailer has an underslung coupler (Jayco is the main manufacturer to use these) so we'll need to go with a different hitch that the ones you looked at.
I recommend the Blue-Ox TrackPro # BLU23FR which will work perfectly with your underslung coupler, and will work perfect with the 665lb tongue weight and 100lbs behind the axle of your Highlander.
If you measure your tongue weight and find the 665lb wasn't correct just let me know!
I included a video where Dave will walk you through installing the # BLU23FR for you to take a look at.
