Will Weigh Safe Weight Distribution Work for Towing Boat Trailer 2017 Kingfisher 2425

Question:
I have a 2018 Ram 3500 carrying a 2014 Eagle Cap 995 camper. To level the load I have added stable loads and air bags to the truck. I have installed torklift super hitch and torklift super truss so I can also tow my 2017 Kingfisher 2425 boat while carrying the camper. Tongue weight is 880 lbs and 6750 lbs boat with trailer weight. Super truss max tongue weight is 600 without weight distribution system and 1200 with. Boat trailer is ezloader double axle with 2” ball and surge brakes I am curious if the WS94RR would work for this setup or if you would recommend another setup.

Hey Chris, the Weigh Safe weight distribution system part # WS94RR would work great for you. This has a tongue weight range that would work great with your trailer that has a tongue weight of 880 lb.

Hi James, my question mentioned surge brakes and according to Weigh Safe site, this Weigh Safe weight distribution hitch is NOT compatible with surge brake trailers. https://www.weigh-safe.com/weight-distribution-hitch/ Features 6? Drop Hitch, 8? Drop Hitch Trailer Compatibility ONLY compatible with 3?, 4?, 5? and 6? tall trailer frames up to 2.5? thick *Not compatible with trailers that have a frame larger than 5? and have the coupler mounted to the bottom of the frame. (Typically found on Jayco Trailers) *Not Compatible with Surge Brakes Due to the length of the hitch some trailers may require their chains and breakaway cable to be extended and or remounted. Can you confirm? If so, do you have another weight distribution that would work with my boat trailer surge brakes, the specs I have provided, and also will work with the Reese pole tongue adapter, part number RP58393? Thanks Chris
