Recommended Short Stubby 2" Ball Mount with 2" Hitch Ball

Question:

Looking for a 2inch receiver with a 2inch ball - either 0, 1inch or 2inch . Looking for the shortest distance between pin center and ball center. The CAB-6W is listed as 7inch but its a bit overkill for my application. Vehicle is a 2022 Ram Promaster 3500 Van with a class 3 hitch Class III 350 lbw TW 3500 lbs GTW Anything simpler / cheaper? Thanks

I looked though a lot of our 2" ball mounts and most are going to be around 7-1/2" to 8-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball since for the vast majority of applications, you'll need a bit of extension for clearance and the extra extension doesn't really affect much else for those who don't need it. The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball part # C45036 is a very standard ball mount for a 2" hitch with 2" hitch ball and has a 2" drop. The hitch ball is already torqued down so you don't have to worry about that and it comes with a hitch pin and clip. It measures 7-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball.
