Can You Bypass Solera Exterior Smart Awning Touch Pad

Hi, my 2020 cougar 24SABWE came with the lippert smart awning,last year around this time during the rain it fried my exterior awing control switch. I purchased another switch from your company and installed it with NO issues,a few days ago i tried opening the awning and im 100 its the same issue again with the exterior switch ,water ,corrosion im sure took it out again with this heavy rain we had these last couple of months. Fuse ,power to the trailer all work. Could you recommend a hard wire set up without the smart control switch or the schematics for the wiring to only open and close with the command screen in the trailer or any suggestions. Thank you

If I were you and I was having trouble with water damaging the exterior touch pad, I would first take some silicone sealant like part # LT37467 and seal up the arms as best you can at any place water could enter. If this did not work then the only option we'd really be able to offer is a new set of arms, without the exterior controller such as the Solera 12V Electric RV Awning Conversion Kit part # LC434723 for black or part # LC434724 for white. These arms would use your existing fabric and roll tube and provide wall-switch only operation.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to assist with wiring the awning to bypass the exterior switch.
