What tire chains do you recommend for my Nissan? Tires are 265/70-16S. I will use them often so I want to spring for good ones.

The first step when considering tire chains for any vehicle is a review of the owner's manual to see whether the auto maker has guidance on the subject. I found an online version of the manual for your 2010 Frontier and on page 8-39 it indicates that low-profile S-Class chains can be used, but only on the rear tires.

The linked page will show you the option from Thule that I recommend you consider, part # TH02230K77. This chain set includes key features that will make frequent use a lot easier. Those features are automatic tensioning, protection for your truck's rims and a quick-disconnect mechanism.

Diamond Pattern D Link chains # TH2004705265 are shown in the linked video on a 2013 Frontier. Once the chain is looped around the tire and the three color-coded connections are made, the patented self-centering, automatic-tensioning system takes over, creating a perfect fit as you drive away.

The K-Summit chains # TH02230K77 are even easier to install - just place the chain on top of tire, attach to wheel nut or bolt and drive off.

Please note that all tire chains require reduced driving speed, typically 30-35-mph.
