Question:
I always stay with my Westlake tires inflated at 80psi but during travel psi can get as high as 95psi according to my TPMS. Is that safe? Is there a max range they can or should not reach?

It's normal for trailer tires like the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHWL304 to heat up while in use which then in turn increases the psi inside. The cold fill rating of the tire actually takes this into account. That said, there is a limit as to how much pressure can increase before the protentional for a blowout occurs. The typically recommendation is anything over 15 psi higher than the cold fill rating should be addressed. The most common cause of excess pressure is driving too fast, the above tires are rated up to 75 mph but that is max so I recommend trying to reduce your speed or just ensuring you're not exceeding this rating. If you have ruled out speed, verify the capacity of the tire and that you're not exceeding this. The above is rated for up to 2,830 lbs per tire.
