Does The Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter # PH67SR Reduce Receiver Capacity?

Question:
Does this adapter reduce the total tongue weight allowed? I have a 2021 Promaster City van that is used for pool service. I have a class 3 hitch that is rated for 350 pounds gross tongue weight. I’ve read that these adapters cut the tongue weight rating in half. Is this true of this particular adapter? My cleaner weighs probably 250 pounds total, so any reduction in allowable tongue weight is no good for me

The Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter # PH67SR will not reduce the capacity for your 2021 Promaster City with a class III receiver.
