Question:
After hearing that everyone has issues with rattling using this bike rack with a 1 1/4 hitch, do you have a recommendation to fix the rattle using the above hitch receiver? I have a 2012 Mazda 3, 4 door sedan. Thanks!

It is normal to have a little play between the hitch and your bike rack, and that play is what causes the rattling you are experiencing.
If you wanted to reduce that play you could use a the no-Rattle Trailer Hitch Wedge # MPG908.
This rack also has a locking anti-rattle device, the Swagman # S64029.
