Troubleshooting Nissan Truck Not Activating Trailer Stoplights and Blinkers
Published 02/15/2023 >
Question:
My trailer lights functioned as expected when connected to my Jeep. The same trailer only displayes tail lights with no brake or turn signals when connected to my Nissan pickup truck. Why is this? Single bulb vs dual bulbs?

Expert Reply:
Most likely it's dirty pins on your trailer wiring connectors. Specifically the ground circuit not being able to provide the amperage for the brighter illumination circuit of the brake and turn signals so try cleaning that. You should also check for blown fuses and relays under hood as well.
