Question:
Looking to attach an e-track to the side walls of my enclosed trailer... the pics and description of the backing plate installation would look terrible if used on the outside side walls of the trailer... How is this being done? I had several D-rings installed on the sides and unfortunately, they pulled the inside plywood from the small vertical metal supports of the trailer... through bolting would be great, but I dont want a tackyinch install... Thanks!

I would recommend using self tapping screws that are a length that wouldn't go through your walls completely to secure the e-track like part # E19148. If you can get as many of the screws into the metal framing of the trailer that would be your best option.
