Question:
What is the length of the 2inch receiver itself? I want it to stick out past the 4inch bumper and want to better understand how far back along the frame I can mount it and still have at least 1/2inch stick out.

I checked with Stromberg Carlson and their multi-fit hitch part # SC45MR has the hitch opening surface 4-11/16 inches away from crosstube of the hitch.
