The 17 foot is too wide; the correct width for the shade screen depends on the width of the fabric, so for your 16-1/2 foot awning fabric you need the Solera RV Awning Shade Screen - Zip-Off Front Panel - 15' Wide x 8' Tall # LC3797820815.
You can also add a pair of side panels for total coverage, the Solera RV Awning Shade Screen - Side Panel - 8' Tall # LC37978608.
