Question:

I see you guys say the thule TH45JV will fit my nissan altima coupe but the fit guide put out by thule doesnt have the check mark for my car but does have the fit codes 101, 102, and 138. What gives? all the other cars without the check mark have a fit code explaining why they dont recommend using the rack. Do you have any pictures of this rack on the altima coupe?

We actually do not list the ThulOutWay # Th45JV, as a fit for the 2012 Nissan Altima coupe. You might have been looking at the fits for the sedan. Instead, you could look at Thule Passage, # TH910XT. It is a good rack that will fit your vehicle. Take a look at the attached video showcasing its features.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # TH982XT. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my sons bike at all.
