Parts Needed To Create Triple Axle Suspension Slider For Adding Larger Wheels/Tires On Boat Trailer

Updated 01/24/2023 | Published 01/23/2023

Question:

Looking for a suspension mount/ slider for a boat trailer. Galvanized, triple axle for 33” of spacing. Will need surprise and all components. Currently on 5200lb axles which will be reused. Just adding some space between axles for larger 16” tires/ wheel setup. Can you direct me to these parts?

While we currently do not carry the slider suspension mounts used on boat trailers we do have most of the necessary components which will allow you to build some. You will need to source the angle iron locally to mount the Triple Axle Hanger Kit # APTT5. Once you have the hangers welded in place you will be able to have the assembly galvanized at a local shop.

We do now carry leaf springs with a Dacromet coating for increased longevity. These springs are rated for a 6,000lb axle as we currently do not have them for a 5,200lb. We have them in a 25-1/4" # e78SR and 26" # e88SR length.

The CE Smith U-Bolt Kit # CE23003 includes galvanized plates and zinc coated U-bolts for increased corrosion prevention.

If there are any other parts you will be needing please let me know and I can direct you to those parts.
