Dim Light When Using 3rd Brake Light Logic Module

Question:

I recently bought a logic module for third brake light from you. When I hooked it up the brake light was barely lit. It’s an older truck topper so may not be a led light. Am I doing something wrong or do I need a new third brake light?

The 3rd Brake Light Logic Module part # PP20-702 works with both LED and incandescent lights so long as the total amp draw of the light does not exceed 1.5 amps. It also works best with single filament bulbs when using incandescent. If the lights works fine with 12 volt power applied but not when hooked up to the module then it likely falls outside of these parameters and would need to be replaced with a compatible option.
