Question:
I want to mount this inside a boat cabin. Is the lid going to make noise due to any vibration or is it a tight fit that wont allow it to rattle?

Expert Reply:
You might get some noise from the lid on the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box # TLA7708R but it's a snug and exact fit so any vibration noise will be significantly less than your run-of-the-mill battery box.
If you end up needing it to be quieter you'll be able to add a foam like the Taylor Made # 3691726 which will add cushioning between the box and lid so there is no metal to metal contact.
