Question:

Hi. I have a 2016 Ford Focus that I am towing with a 2012 Fleetwood Southwind I have the hitch, tow bar, and tow plate installed. I also have a 7 pin plug at the back of the Rv. What do I need so I can use a 7pin plug on the front of my Focus to charge my battery and operate my rear lights? Brake buddy 2 will be installed for brake support

For a tow bar lighting solution for your 2016 Ford Focus that covers what you are looking for you'd want the Roadmaster Diode Kit part # RM-15267 which uses diodes that splice into your vehicle taillight wiring to operate them. Then to allow this to charge your battery you'd want the # RM-156-25 which you'd run from the 6-way connector that installs on the Focus to it's battery. This completes the 12 volt accessory trailer wiring circuit from your RV to the Focus batter to allow it to charge it's battery.
