Would EcoHitch Front Hitch for 2013 Ram 1500 Work with Detail K2 Elite Plow

I already have an Ecohitch 306-X7900 installed on my 2013 Ram 2500. Will the supports/stabilizers work with my current 2” receiver? Also, would some front suspension support be in order with this 293lb plow, especially since it protrudes 50” from the hitch pin?

Expert Reply:
The Detail K2 Elite Snow Plow part # K2AVAL8826ELT that you referenced was designed to work with front hitches that install lower on the vehicle than your ecohitch. This would hold the plow much too high and would not work. You'd need a hitch like the Curt # C31015 which installs lower on your 2013 Ram 2500.
