Question:
I have a t-nut channel on my trailer, is there a t-nut that fits this anchor?
asked by: Cory Z
Expert Reply:
The bolt on the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor # DR01 measures 3" long x 5/8" diameter. The best way to mount it is with the Backing Plate # BP1D. There is not a specific T-nut available to mount this in the channel on your trailer.
Tracks/channels like what you have typically have parts that are brand specific. If you can find out what kind of channel that is there may be a different tie down available. Even if you found one that would work with the 5/8" bolt, more than likely the 3" length would not allow you to mount it securely in the channel.
