Will Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Work With a Swing-Away Adapter

Question:

I look for the Hollywood Destination E to carry 2 Lectric bikes 65 pounds e.. Can I install it with a swing away Kuat???? And how to ease my use of the Hitch pin lock with the narrow space than I have between the hitch and the electrical plug of this one? Or have you a better suggestion of bike carrier with a ramp?

The Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # HLY66ZR is compatible with a swing-away adapter such as the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks part # PVD20B. That said, your capacity may be reduced with the swing-away adapter if it's rated for less than the bike rack. The Kuat Pivot is rated for 250 lbs so as long as the weight of bikes and rack does not exceed this there will be no issues.

In regards to the hitch pin clearance issue, there isn't much you can do besides installing the pin from the side opposite of the trailer connector.
