Will Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # 118158 Work to Power a 3rd LED Brake Light

Question:

I want to use the 118158 as a 3rd brake light module, will it work using a LED 3rd brake light or does it only work with the bulb type 3rd brake light?

You can use the vehicle to vehicle tail light converter # 118158 to power a third brake light whether it be LED or incandescent. The input green wire will connect to the combined right turn/brake light circuit and the yellow wire will connect to the combined left turn/brake light circuit. White gets grounded to the vehicle or trailer frame.

On the output side if you just need the brake circuit it is the red wire. The green and yellow output wires can be capped off and stowed out of the way.
