Question:

I have a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty and I will be towing a trailer that weights about 10,000 pounds. I am interested in purchasing some Firestone airbags and see that you have two options available. One for 5,000 pounds and one for 7,500 pounds. Which one should I get? Are there any differences?

Out of the two Firestone kits that we offer I recommend The The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F35FV because you're only towing a 10,000 pound trailer and your pin weight will be under 5,000 pounds which will provide you with a more comfortable ride and towing experience. The Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F95FV are meant for heavier duty trailers.

After installing The Firestone Air Bags I would also recommend considering installing a compressor system like The Air Command Compressor System w/ Light Duty Compressor # F2610. Using this compressor system will let you monitor and adjust the air bags that I mentioned above. I like this compressor system over the others that we sell because the compressor has a wireless system that will directly connect to your smartphone and will allow you to adjust and monitor the air springs.
