Yes, the Bright Way Push-to-Test ICU Trailer Breakaway Kit with 0.5-Amp Charger and 5 Ah Battery - Side Load # BW94FR can be used on a boat trailer.
I do recommend ensuring you put it at the front of the trailer and not submerging it, however, just as with any electrical component.
