Question:

Will this Hitch fit on my 2019 RAM 1500 6'4" bed? HI, I have the above truck and want to hook up a Forest RIver Impression, its has a GVVW of 7538 5th wheel. Im concerned about my short bed in my truck. Thank you for your input.

The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR that replaces a Lippert 1621 pin box can be used for your Forest River Impression (provided the pin box numbers match), but since your 2019 Ram 1500 has the 6'4" bed you'll have some struggles with turning clearance so I recommend looking into a different setup.

An alternative solution would be to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 but even with the 7-1/2" offset I'm not sure if that will give you enough clearance to comfortably make your turns while towing. If you want to go this route and you don't already have a gooseneck hitch we have the B&W Hitch # BWGNRK1319 for your truck.

For the best towing solution that gives you the clearance you need and helps you avoid getting in and out of your truck to operate a manual slider hitch I recommend checking out the Demco Autoslide # DM8550035 which connects to your truck with the standard base rail kit # DM8552032-71. This is the Cadillac of 5th wheel hitches so you're getting the best in the market but that's also reflected in the price-point as well.

If you don't already have a 7-Way socket in the bed of your truck I recommend checking out the Pollak # PK11893-11932 so it's easier to connect and disconnect your trailer wiring.
