Will the c51180 installed on a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 with factory towing package also charge the RV battery while towing?

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 will still allow you to maintain the trailer battery. You will want to verify the charge line on your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500's 7-way is operating correctly. There are some instances where not all the fuses are included and one may need to be added. If you do not get power on your 7-way be sure to verify if the correct fuses and relays are in place according to your owners manual.
Curt has just released their new Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller # C79DR which will allow you to no longer have the added component inline on the trailer 7-way connection. This is a much better option if you are worried about the length of the other Echo or it getting lost or stolen.
