Question:
2016 toyota highlander xle - i have already looked up the curt class three trailer hitch that you sell - but my boat trailer requires a 5 pin plug in due to the fact that the trailer has electric brakes - and i am wondering if you sell a wiring kit that will accommodate the 5 pin (i can find the 4 pin but that will not work)

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13394 is an excellent option for a 2016 Toyota Highlander (All Models) and what I recommend using due to the hidden crosstube design. In regards to the trailer wiring, there are only 4-way options so if you need a 5-way you'll have to obtain the 4-way and use an adapter. I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56217 and the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter part # C57187.
Please note, 5-ways typically aren't used to carry a charge for trailer brakes but rather disengage the lockout actuator.
