Can I open the tool box when my steps are down?

The MORryde Locking RV Storage Box # MR43RR sits close enough to the stairs that I don't think you'll have the ability to open up the door. If you already have the steps installed you can mock up the door to see if it will open with out any issues since part of the clearance will depend on what stairs you have and how tall they are.
This door measures 27-3/4" Wide x 10" Tall so you can use these dimensions for your mock up.
