Does Empire Faucets RV Shower Valve w/ Vacuum Breaker Need to be Installed Vacuum Breaker Up

Question:
Does this faucet have to be mounted with the vacuum breaker up or can it be mounted with it down. Mounted it down and water does not get very hot have hot at sink

Yes, the Empire Faucets RV Shower Valve w/ Vacuum Breaker # EM42FR needs to be installed so that the vacuum breaker is up. If you installed it facing down then that means you have your hot and cold connections reversed which is probably why your water isn't getting very hot.
