is there a type of box that can fit the carrier ? we are looking for a water proof container for our luggage.

There are no boxes that will fit in trailer hitch mount cargo carriers like # 63155 but there are bags that fit, # e98990. It is not waterproof because to be waterproof it has to be able to be submerged under water for a certain period of time and not let any water in, but it is considered water resistant. We always recommend wrapping cargo in plastic no matter which bag you use.
We don't have any enclosed carriers that work with a 1-1/4" hitch. Your best bet is your cargo carrier and the bag. Then you can place items that cannot get wet in plastic bags or containers just to be on the safe side. To add lights to the Pro Series carrier use # 20174. I have included a link to a video showing how the light kit installs.
For the lights to work on any of these carriers the vehicle will need to have a functioning 4-Way flat trailer connector.
