Question:
Once powering up the blue ox system and pushing setup, allowing the three cycles to complete and watching the break lights work. However when you apply the breaks in the coach the blue ox system doesnt work, saying that the arm does not actuate the break pedal and lights. System says that everything is connected and charged. The manual button operates correctly, What causes this problem?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR is a proportional unit which means it applies the brakes in an amount/force similar to that as they are applied in the motorhome. Therefore, if you are parked and pressing the brake pedal in the motorhome, it won't do anything in the vehicle. If you however apply the manual override which bypasses the proportional, inertia driven system then you should see the brakes depress on the vehicle.
