Disc Brake Conversion Kit For a Tandem Axle Trailer With Dexter 7,000LB Torsion Axles

Question:

We would like to convert our trailer to disc brakes. It has two 7K dexter torsion axles. Seal number 413470 Inner bearing 25580 Outer bearing 14125A 16 tires Can you tell me which conversion kit you would recommend Thanks

Here is a list of all the parts you will need as we do not have a kit that contains everything you will need in one for converting your trailer to disc brakes.

Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HRCM1337-9DAC Qty 2
Inner Bearing # 25580 Qty 4
Outer Bearing # 02475 Qty 4
Grease Seals # RG06-090 Qty 2
Kodiak Synthetic Bearing Oil # XLPROLUBE Qty 4
Dexter 9/16" Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # STN569 Qty 32

Depending on your current brakes you will need some additional parts. If you currently have electric brakes you will need a kit like the Hydrastar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HS481-8067 and a Brake Line Kit # HS496-252.

If you have hydraulic drum brakes let me know what actuator you have and I can determine if there is an upgrade for your current actuator for the brakes.
