Question:
I have a 2014 ram 2500 that has the rails installed in the bed for a fifth wheel hit that I already have. I was wondering if I could also install the gooseneck hitch with out removing the already installed rails? Possible? Want to keep the 5th wheel hitch I have for the camper but also have a gooseneck trailer. Not really looking to by the gooseneck hitch and the bw companion right now.

I have a really easy solution that won't require you to replace your rail system. I recommend the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails item # 16055. This adapter plate will attach to your industry standard rails just like your 5th wheel hitch does. It will give you a 2-5/16" ball with 3" offset from front to rear.
I have linked an installation video along with a picture of what this plate looks like installed on a set of rails.
If you are not interested in having a 3" offset then you will want the Curt Spyder item # 16085.
To make towing with a 5th wheel or gooseneck easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56000 to your 2014 Ram 2500. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
