How Far Does Yakima SlimShady Awning Extend From Car

Question:

I want to verify that this awning is 4.5 foot long on the car and goes out 6.5 foot out from the car. I am going to put it over the back doors of my gmc savana. I only have 4.5 foot wide over the back doors. Thanks

Good question, and I verified with Yakima the dimensions. As you can see in the accompanying photo I made for you, the SlimShady does extend out 6-1/2 feet from the car and is 4-1/2 feet wide mounted. The correct part number is the following:
