Question:

What is the purpose of the down feature on this actuator and do you carry a straight line actuator that has the same capabilities as this one. I am replacing a Atwood 83000 bolt on / drum brake actuator. Thanks

The drop on the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM8669112 is only moving he coupler lower so you will not need as large of a rise on the tow vehicle. We do have the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM8609101 without a drop that has all the same features. They both are rated for a tongue weight up to 800lbs, trailer weight up to 8,000lbs, have a 2" coupler, zinc coated, rated for drum brakes and have the same bolt pattern.
