Question:
Im looking at buying a 2021 chevy to flat tow behind my 32 foot forrester class c What will it take to be able to tow it 4 wheels down. price of equipment, where do I get it installed? We started looking at the Ford 150 because we were told its easier to get it to flat tow. Does it make sense to switch to the Chevy?

The process of putting a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 or a 2021 Ford F-150 into tow mode look to be pretty similar so my advise is to purchase whichever vehicle you'll be happier with. If you really like the Silverado then I recommend going that route - just make sure it's a 4WD with the two-speed transfer case as that's what's required to safely tow a 2021 Silverado 1500. I'll list my recommendation for products below which you can install yourself or have a trusted shop in your area install for you. The pricing of the products are listed on the product pages - you will need similarly-priced equipment for the F-150 as well.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - # RM-523199-5
Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar - # RM-676 (with safety cables)
Towing Combo Kit - # RM-9284-2
Automatic Battery Disconnect - # RM-766
Charge Line Kit - # RM-156-25
Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System - # DM86VR
High-Low Adapter - See attached article (Direct-Connect height is 20-1/2")
I really like the Direct-Connect base plate because it looks clean and is easy to use. The Nighthawk tow bar is one of the nicest that we have to offer as it has channels in the arms for the safety cables and wiring plus it has LEDs on the arms so other people on the road can tell you're towing the vehicle. The combo kit comes with wiring to activate your truck lights while towing as well as locks for both ends of the tow bar and a cover to help keep it nice.
The battery disconnect makes disconnecting your battery as simple as flipping a switch and then the charge line kit ensures your battery isn't drained during travel. The brake system I recommended installs permanently but out of the way so you can't really tell it's there during everyday driving.
I've attached some videos for the different products you can check out as well.
