Recommended SumoSprings for a 2017 Ford F-150
Published 09/17/2022 >
Question:
I have a 2017 f150 lariat super crew 5.5 4wd truck. Stock height and suspension. I pull a #3,000 pop up trailer with #300 hitch weight. Trailer has toy hauler cage in front I load three bikes and gear into. So est + #600 to trailer which would add a large amount to tongue weight. Interested in sumo springs. Which options would be best to limit loaded rear sag. And when I loaded keep a soft/smooth ride?

SumoSprings like item # SS95QR are the best option for your application. The Rebel Custom Helper Springs are two separate pieces that only come in contact when weight is added to the rear of your 2017 F-150. This springs use progressive load control to support your trucks rear suspension. The more weight put on the rear end the compression in the springs. When you are not towing you will not notice the Sumosprings. They have a 3,000 lbs capacity.
