Question:
Can you please advise what part I need to replace the door lock on our camper?

Based on the pictures you provided you will need to alter the cutout hole slightly to fit any other entry door lock. In my opinion the best option to replace your current entry door lock would be the Bauer Products European Style RV Entry Door Lock # BA38AR. This lock requires a cutout hole that is 2-3/4" tall x 3-3/4" wide so the trimming you would need to do would be minimal.
Most of the other options available would require you to cut a much larger hole for fitment so with that in mind the # BA38AR is going to be the easiest option available for your 1998 Jayco Rushmore Heritage.
