Question:
I saw a question Jeffery L responded to in regards to the over-under kit for trailers. We just replaced both axels on our cargo trailer with a drop axel. The trailer is very low and we go off-road, therefore, the trailer will drag when loaded. So, my question is if we flip the axles so the leaf springs are on top, can we just buy the spring seat or do we need to purchase the entire kit? In other words, since we are just placing the springs on top instead of under, we should have all the other parts or do these kits have specific parts that are not normally used. Thank you in advance...

To flip the axles on your trailer you will need the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit item # K71-384-00 if you have 2-3/8" diameter axles. Or item # K71-385-00 if you have 3" diameter axles.
The axle flip kits raise your trailer height in correlation to your axle size. The kits come with only the parts needed. You won't have anything spare you are paying for. You will need one kit for each axle. I have linked an installation video below so you can see the installation process.
