Question:

I have a 2018 Lance 1062 Camper that goes on my 2020 Ford F350. I want to purchase two Aventon Adventure e-bikes that weigh 74 pounds each without any accessories and one of the bikes is a step through. The hitch on the back of my camper says it can handle up to 300 pounds. I also us the hitch on my 2020 Rav 4 we would like to use with the rack. We are looking at the Hollywood racks and we are not sure what which would rack would be the best for our needs, We looked at the HLY64FR, HLY74FR and the HLY84FR. I also have a hitch on the front of the truck which I could use. I found with our last bikes which were regular Mountain Bikes and our current hitch Yakima YO2445 when I had the bike on the front would bounce up and the handle bars hit the hood of the truck. The bike were stolen when the locking cables were cut so the best locking system would also be appreciated. Thanks for your help! Sincerely,

For an RV approved E-bike rack that has the higher weight capacity you need the best option is the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR which has an 80 lb capacity, has frame clamps that can work with step thru frames, and will work great in your RAV4. The Hollywood Racks bike racks can't be used in front hitches though.

This rack has locks built into the frame clamps as well as the hitch pin which means there isn't a cable lock that could be cut.
