What Angle Should Trailer Suspension Shock Kit Install at

Question:

We bought a shock kit for our Alliance Paradigm 5th wheel. We need advice for location of mounting brackets, the brackets are wider than the 2inch brace that is under the I-beam. We plan on drilling to place brackets, so the correct location is important.

The correct location for the shock kit mounting brackets will be where it allows the shock to sit at the correct angle. If you had a Roadmaster Shock Kit like the # RM-2460 you referenced you'd need the angle to be between 20 and 40 degrees from completely vertical.
