Question:

I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 4x4 it was lifted 6inch when I took over payments to help out my daughter. I want to put air bags on it to try and get back some of my payload capacity. What are my options?

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88338 have a load-leveling capacity up to 5,000 pounds, and have an adjustable air pressure between 5 psi to 100 psi. The springs are constructed of a 2-ply fabric-reinforced rubber.

With your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 having a 6 inch lift you will need a universal spacer:

The Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers # AL52460 - 6 Inch
The Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers # AL52420 - 2 Inch
The Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers # AL52440 - 4 Inch

To find the correct one you will need to do some measuring. You will have to measure on a flat surface, the distance between the mounting surface on the upper and lower brackets. Next you will have to subtract the height of the air spring and the measurement taken in the first step. Finally you choose the correct kit for your vehicle based on the information you got.
