I would be happy to help you set up your 2020 Ram 3500 short bed with a 5th wheel hitch. You are going to need a sliding hitch to make tight turns and back up. You have two options depending on whether or not your Ram has the towing prep package.
The Companion 5th Wheel Hitches below are nearly identical except for their mounting methods. Both have a 20,000 lbs capacity and offer 12" of travel for clearance. The Companion has a dual jaw design that allows for less rattle and more security than slide-bar jaws which leads to a quieter and more comfortable towing experience.
