I have Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch on my truck but need to put a slide on. Will any 5th wheel hitch work? Thanks chad

Good question, and there are some limitations to the exact sliding 5th wheel hitch you can use with your Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck # 16310.

It is NOT compatible with any auto-slide 5th wheel hitches, Husky 10-26K or 10-16K fifth-wheel sliding hitches, or B&W Patriot sliding hitches. Since you have the Turnoverball, you have a couple of options, one of which is sell the X5 and get the sliding B&W Companion, which has a 20,000 lb capacity fits right in the Turnoverball:

- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W

This gives you the absolute best 5th wheel hitch in the industry, and if you sell the X5 you should come out at about the same price as if you got another sliding hitch.

If you like the X5 then I recommend going with a Curt hitch, the A-Series, which is high-quality, easy to use, and compatible with the X5. There are two options for this, depending on the capacity you need:
